Festival Offices
 
The Festival’s main offices are located at the Antiguo Palacio Federal, headquarters of the Consejo para la Cultura y las Artes de Nuevo León (Nuevo Leon Council for the Arts). Completed in 1929, this building is one of the most distinctive icons in the city.

Cineteca Nuevo León

Located in an old industrial steel mill, Cineteca Nuevo Leon exhibits the world’s best cinema. It also holds a valuable archive of Mexican and local films.

Teatro del Centro de las Artes (Arts Center Theater)

Dramatic Arts have a special place reserved at the Art Center Theater, located on the second floor of this historic building.
 
This theatre has a 344-seat capacity and is used for theater plays, conferences, music and dance shows.
 
It is also used as auditorium for conferences, seminars and audiovisual screenings.
 
The Arts Center Theater is a young and dynamic space of the Nuevo Leon Council for the Arts and will be the official site for the gala events at the Monterrey International Film Festival 2009.

Explanada del Museo de Historia Mexicana
 
Located just where Diego de Montemayor founded Monterrey, Mexico History Museum houses an important collection about our ancient Mexico, colonial and nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The screenings will be outdoors on the huge just in front to the Macroplaza.

Sala Guajardo del IMNRC
