In 2005, the Monterrey International Film Festival (ficmonterrey) was born, with the objective of spreading the national and international film culture in the city of Monterrey; with the support of important institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, IMCINE, Government of Nuevo León, CONARTE and the local councils, among others.
Through the creation of exhibition spaces, training and industry events, we are committed to creating a film community.
